What makes you a good tutor?

I’ve always loved reading, writing, and learning, which makes me truly passionate about education. I originally planned to become a teacher but started my own business instead so I could have more flexibility in how I teach. I believe in making learning a positive and supportive experience, meeting each student where they are. Everyone learns differently, so I take the time to understand their unique needs and adapt my approach to help them succeed.

What educational qualifications do you have?

GCSE: A*-C including all core subjects

A levels: R.S, Sociology and Psychology

Bachelors degree: First class degree in Philosophy

Currently studying towards Masters degree in Philosophy

What relevant experience do you have?

I have multiple professional and voluntary experiences with children and young people. This includes a full-time role working as a mental health support worker for year 6 students, study support mentor for a disabled undergraduate student, Brownies volunteer and I also had a week long placement in a primary school! I can provide references upon request.

What other relevant qualifications do you have?

I have an enhanced DBS on the update service and safeguarding training. 

Can you create a personalised learning plan?

Yes, I can create Individualised Learning Plans and timetables to meet the unique educational needs of a student.
